After a couple of solid runs to begin this prep SKYMASTER goes bang third up at Rocky in the last, to bring home the double for the team. What a tough performance from the Rubick gelding, jumping well from the awkward draw to allow Dan McGillivray to take up the running in front. Hit the middle of the long straight and your heart was in the mouth as plenty of challengers emerged. But our tough boy wouldn’t be denied kicking back to salute by 0.3L.

CUSACK continues his winning ways, making it back-to-back wins after a three-quarters of a length win today at Rocky. It was a brilliant ride from Ashley Butler sitting second last before weaving up alongside the field before finding clear air. The Not A Single Doubt gelding doing the rest, flying home in the last 200m to secure the win.
